Project is to prevent child/early marriages in 10 villages of Raxaul Block of East Champaran district covering 500 adolescent girls where child marriage is prevalent. The Right To Be a Girl project enables the young girls to fight against forced child marriage by increasing their knowledge and confidence as well as empowering them to raise their voices against child marriage. Sensitization of parents, community stakeholders, school management committees, child protection committees, faith-based leaders, etc., are done to prevent child marriage.
