Strengthening Capacity for HIV/AIDS Programmes
Effective HIV/AIDS programmes depend on well-trained and confident teams working closely with communities. Through Kshamta Kendra, BVHA supports capacity building of staff working under Targeted Intervention (TI) and Link Worker Scheme (LWS) programmes.
The programme focuses on strengthening the knowledge and practical skills of programme teams so that they can deliver services effectively, maintain quality standards and respond better to the needs of communities affected by HIV.

What We Do
- Conduct induction and refresher training for TI and LWS staff.
- Strengthen knowledge on HIV prevention, care and management.
- Build the skills of programme staff in community-based service delivery.
- Support better understanding and implementation of programme guidelines.
- Strengthen reporting, documentation and coordination.
- Provide technical support to programme teams whenever required.
Our Approach
BVHA combines classroom-based learning, practical exercises, group discussions and experience sharing to make training useful for field-level teams. The emphasis is on learning that can be applied directly in day-to-day programme work.
